“Life and death are in the power of the tongue” (Proverbs 18:21). I encourage you to speak these confidently over your marriage in faith, and watch your marriage transform into what God always intended it to be!

Marriage Confessions:

Our marriage is blessed (Deuteronomy 28:1-14).

We are led by the Spirit of God (Romans 8:14).

We are one flesh and no one can tear us apart. We stand together, united in Christ. We make every effort to establish peace and harmony in our home. Together we walk in agreement and are an unstoppable force (Ecclesiastes 4:12, Matthew 19:4-6; I Peter 3:7).

We will give honor to our marriage and stay faithful to each other (Hebrews 13:4).

We are not self-seeking, rude, proud, boastful, or jealous. Instead, we are loving, kind, and patient, and we put each other’s needs before our own. We will never give up on each other, but always cheer each other on in faith (1 Corinthians 13:4-7).

When we pray together in unity, our prayers are powerful and we get results (Matthew 18:19).

If we get angry, we are quick to forgive so that we do not have strife in our relationship (Mark 11:25).
