The Royal Status

YOU ARE ROYALTY

The world often looks for royalty in a castle, on a throne, or waving from a classy vehicle in a royal parade. But these are not the only places royal blood can be found. Far more honorable than a lineage of earthly rulers, every believer has been born into royalty the moment they received Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Through the Blood of Jesus and what it has done, royal blood now flows through your veins. Where does this leave you? A royal child of God, a prince or princess, with a crown of righteousness glittering in your future! (2 Timothy 4:8)

But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy.  (1 Peter 2:9, 10)

According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love. Having predestined us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, to the praise of the glory of his grace wherein he had made us accepted in the beloved.  (Ephesians 1:3-6)

 YOU HAVE A PURPOSE

An honorable member of royalty doesn’t shut out the world by vegetating behind closed doors while popping chocolates and sitting before a TV screen. They are called to do far more than enjoy the perks of their royal status. They have a purpose. Just the same, You have a purpose. Whatever God has called you to do, it is important to the Kingdom of God. Whether a student, mother or father, or business man or woman, every role is significant. In whatever you do, you are shining the love of God wherever you go. It’s a calling ordained by the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. No one can take your place when it comes to proclaiming His praises!

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.  (Matthew 28:19, 20)

Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God.  (2 Corinthians 5:20)

 YOU ARE EMPOWERED

No member of royalty goes about their royal career empty-handed. God’s family is no exception. As you go about your purpose, God has equipped you with the resources to pull it off. It’s not just about having a educational diploma or marriage license, however. The resources are supernatural enablement from the Throne Room itself. It’s a heavy dose of the King’s grace and anointing!

Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think of anything as being from ourselves, but our sufficiency is from God, who also made us sufficient as ministers of the new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.  (2 Corinthians 3:5, 6)

But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.  (Acts 1:8)
